Privacy Policy

All eight tools (the URL slug generator, slug checker, bulk CSV slug generator, kebab case converter, UTM builder, 301 redirect generator, URL encoder/decoder and remove accents tool) and the code snippets run entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The titles you paste, the CSV files you open, the slugs you score, the URLs you build or decode and the redirect lists you check are processed on your device. They are never uploaded to a server, and we cannot see them. This also applies to text passed in a ?q= link: it is only placed in the input box.

There is no registration or sign-up. We do not ask for your name, email address or any other personal details to use the tools.

Your slug options, such as separator, stop words, base URL and the Chinese → pinyin switch, are saved in your browser's localStorage so they are kept between visits. Your language choice (English or Chinese) is saved in the same way. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can remove it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser. When you convert Chinese to pinyin, the pinyin dictionary is downloaded from this site and runs in your browser; your text is not sent anywhere.

We currently run no analytics and show no ads. We do not set tracking or advertising cookies. If we add analytics or advertising (for example Google AdSense) in the future, we will update this policy before it goes live. The update will say what is collected, by whom, and how you can opt out.

The site is made of static pages delivered through Cloudflare's network. Like any web host, Cloudflare may process standard technical request data, such as your IP address, browser user agent and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This data is never combined with the text or files you process, because those never leave your browser.

The site is intended for people aged 16 and older.

If we change how the site handles data, we will update this page and the "Last updated" date at the top.
